PRESS :: ENCHANTED BRIDES MAGAZINE

I recently teamed up with a handful of other amazingly talented StudioWed vendors on a styled shoot for the summer issue of Enchanted Brides magazine.  The shoot took place on the lawn at The Hermitage, the home of Andrew Jackson, here in Nashville.  The Enchanted Magical Woodlands theme was captured through the use of burlap and lace, vintage furniture, and a slew of wooden accents including a gorgeous wood-burned piece by Brocade Designs.

My work is hiding all throughout the shoot...the menu, place cards, table signage, and drink tags.

 You can pick up the summer issue on newsstands now, or check out the digital issue here.

StudioWed's Inspired Bride Event Recap

I am so pleased to announce that I am the newest vendor of StudioWed Nashville!!  StudioWed is an AMAZING resource for the planning bride and I fully recommend that those of you who are in the planning process check out what they have to offer.  They have an amazing array of vendors and resources to help you figure out everything from the big picture down to the smallest detail.

This past weekend they hosted the Inspired Bride event for Nashville brides and I was so happy to be a part of it!  I helped to greet brides and planners at the door by writing their name tags in calligraphy, did some tags for the swag bags, had a couple of giveaways, and made some signage to go around the venue.  Brides spent their afternoon checking out what a handful of Nashville's best vendors had to offer.  Or, if you're me, walking around sampling treats from The Sugar Wagon {their chocolate peanut butter cups are to diiiiiiie for}, watching videos from Focal Point {I dare you not to shed one glistening tear}, and swooning over the GORGEOUS tablescapes featured by Hillary of Brocade Designs {I can't promise I won't renew my vows this year just to have more of her flowers!!!}.

I am also happy to report that Hillary asked me to help complete the look of her Rustic Elegance tablescape by creating some menus and place cards.  Check out the beautiful photographs of that table courtesy of Justin Wright.

Tis the Season

Don't you just love that quote?! It makes me feel like Christmas, which I need, because I haven't been feeling like Christmas is actually here.  In reality it's not only here, it's coming in full force.  I've done some pretty fun holiday projects over the last few weeks.  A few Christmas cards (including my own!) which I look forward to showing you pictures of in the coming weeks.  But for now I'm focusing on something that I've been working on that I happen to love...and that's Christmas tags!  I love paper in general, and wrapping paper is no exception, but sometimes I feel like it needs a little something extra.  Here is my solution to that problem...

I love the plain ones to keep around the house and use on gifts here and there, but I happen to think the personalized ones are awesome for delivering gifts to friends.  I love tying them around the neck of a bottle of wine or around a jar of something that you're giving friends as a Christmas gift.  I just think they pop and bring something extra to a gift.  I guess I'm a little partial though?

I'm getting more and more excited about showing off some amazing holiday cards, but I don't want to give them away until I know they've all been sent out.  So until then you'll just have to wait!
